Greetings, I am trying to automate the download of Internet Server log files from a production server to an analysis server. I have created a control file that syncs the two directories but the problem is that the server applications that create the log files and update them throughout the day do so in memory and as a result the actual file last modified time never changes, the file size does.

Is there a way to sync by file size? Or can anyone give me a better road to go down.
