Not sure if this is a problem with FTP Pro or FTP Server.  Whenever one agency FTP's a file (text in this case) and I open it with a program like Notepad, I see garbage characters.  They claim to be able to open it before transmitting it.  They FTP to other agencies with no problem.  None of my other FTPers have this issue - I get Excel, Text, some binary.  Somehow back in July they successfully transmitted a file.

Any ideas if the problem is on their end or mine?  Here is what they say they are doing.

"We are transferring ASCII files. Earlier attempts to transfer using our mainframe's native character set (EBCDIC) were unreadable on your end. We had success after switching to ASCII. Now that's not working either.  Host type? It is a ClearPath Plus MCP based server. A modern mainframe. The operating system is Unisys ClearPath MCP."

Thanks!
