Guys, I do reviews on a major computer forum, and I must admit this type of response is not winning you any points in my upcoming review about software support...Can we please get some resolution here?

Regards,

Paragon

I am having the same problem with Windows 2000 Pro.  I have WS_FTP Pro version 7.62.  I tried the evaluation version of 9.01 and decided to buy the new version.  Now I can't get the patch to load.  It keeps giving me the same message, "Patch Failed! No valid version of WS_FTP Pro was found."

Is there a fix to this bug yet?

Does no one from Ipswitch ever read the threads in this forum?  You have a number of customers here complaining about not being able to install a patch that you have made available!  Why hasn't there been some typ of accomodation on Ipswitch's part...I assure you I am publishing an article on a major computer forum about software support and from my recent experiences Ipswitch rates at or near the bottom...Please have the common courtesy to rspond to your customers Ipswitch; this truly SUCKS!

Regards,

Paragon

I ended up contacting Ipswitch directly through their email support (service@ipswitch.com) and got a response with a new link that worked within 48 hours.  I guess the forum is just a way for us to vent our anger, not really a way to get anything done.

Good Luck!

1) Why didn't ftp fool post that link for us?
2) If there is a solution available, why hasn't our forum moderator let us know about it?
3) If there is a solution available, why hasn't Ipswitch replaced the 9.01 download package, or posted 9.02?

Too many questions, not enough answers...

I didn't post the link for two reasons:

1) It is for WS_FTP Pro, not Home which is the topic of the forum.

2) It has an account and password associated with it which expire in a couple of days.

That is why I gave you the contact information instead (service@ipswitch.com)
