I recently setup an email server for our domain using Imail express to test out the Imail program. If it works well I figure I'll buy the Imail Small Business. I noticed that response time seems to be a bit slower than some other IMAP setups I've seen (even within the lan) for users with a large number of messages & folders. What do you folks consider a practical "rule of thumb" for suggesting to users a maximum number of messages per folder, and max number of folders for users? I didn't see any limits described in the Imail user guides.

No such rules is the "rule of thumb"

Default Max Messages. Enter the default maximum number of messages that will be allowed in each user’s account. Enter zero for an unlimited number. For more information on how this setting interacts with user settings, see Setting Mailbox Directory Limits for a User.
