| I just setup the ftp server on a windows 2003 server. I am using active directory as my user database. However, when trying to use the server manager program, it keeps crashing when I try to expand the details of my site. Trying to remotely manager from another computer, I get an error saying I have to be an administrator (error 501), which I am. The users can log in, so the server seems to be running. Any thoughts ?? |

| Ok, if the user is able to log in, then you obviously have your iftpsvc process running as the right user. Now you need to check and make sure you're running the Server Manager as a domain admin. If you aren't a domain admin, you can't browse users on the domain controller.
