On wanting to upgrade to the Pro version, I tried to uninstall this product. Tried countless times but all to no avail. So I installed the Pro version on top of it and tried uninstalling again but still i cannot get it to uninstall. Its working ok but I just want to uninstall this thing #%$**.

Any help would be appreciated.

What exactly happens when you try to uninstall?

The uninstallation just doesn't run. I mean I got to "Add or Remove Programs" and hit the respective "change/Remove" button but nothing happens at all. And I have waited for hours on end but nothing happens. It does not freeze/hang or anything like that. So then out of frustration I simply close the window.

this has been a month now since I posted and still no response.

Just a suggestion, for good usability purpose, shouldn't this program be bundled with its uninstallation option? Almost all other programs I know do!

WS_FTP Home does add itself to the list of programs in the Add/Remove Programs control panel.  If it doesn't appear there and yet does appear elsewhere, I'm not sure what could be the problem.  You may want to contact Technical Support directly.

Re-read this users posts. He didnt say that it did not appear in his add/remove menu, he said it did not respond when he tried to remove the software.

Why am I not surprised by a lack of competent support? Could it be due to the fact that Ipswitch has never provided any type of quality support and never a quaity product?
