Use the web interface to navigate to the report of your choice, for example, the "Active Monitor Availability Report". Then copy the URL from the address bar of your browser: for example, it might look like this:

http://localhost/NmConsole/Reports/GroupDeviceAvailability.asp?nDeviceGroupID=196&sTab=Reports

So finally we can only copy and paste page displayed by WUP into the reports?

Recurring reports are finally nothing but pages that we can look at with the web interface or in the report view?

Why sending them by email then, if you can look at them by logging in on the web interface at any time?

I thought recurring reports would display only summary of information available in WUP database (uptime, availability, performance, etc.) and not just exactly what you already have in the WUP report view...

Or didn't I understand how to use them?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

No, you can use any URL - for example, "www.cnn.com" .

There are several uses. For example, you can schedule them to be emailed to your boss on the first of every month, without requiring him/her to take any action (such as logging in, navigating to the report, etc.).

Larry,

Does your pointer to this thread mean that you're still in need of testers? Or has this process moved on sufficiently that this has passed and we're reassuringly close to a new release??

If it's the former I may be able to muck in. If it's the latter, even better.

Thanks

Matthew

Larry, will the uptime/availability for groups be implemented in the next version of WUP?

This would be REALLY interesting if it could be put in an email report, bringing a summary of uptime/availability for several devices rather than having just a huge list of graphs for all the devices...

kemerick did something really cool and I am sure that the Ipswitch team could improve this feature:
