Even though it's a common 'best practice' to disable default banners, this can cause problems with some SSH ftp clients.  It appears that the banner provides some important version and/or protocol information.  For some clients, without this data being provided in the banner, they may not be able to complete authentication.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just hoping to save you some time if you have the same problem.</description><pubDate>Wed, 07 May 2008 21:19:10 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>johnniewalker</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
