I am also having problems with this. I was able to generate a .csr to submit to my CA and get a .crt back but I have been unable to import the .crt into the server so I am stuck.

Here is how I generated my .csr:

From this window select the [Create] button.

Now enter in all of your information as you would submit it to your CA and click [Save]

Now you will be taken back to your previous page and you can see the new certificate. Click on it at you will be taken to a details page for the certificate.

From this page one of your links under Related Actions is "Export Certificate Signing Request" that will be the link that will generate your .csr file.

Once I did that I submitted it to my CA and got my .crt back.

This is where I am stuck every time I try and import my certificate it has a save error and fails to import the certificate.

Did you ever get any feed back from this or figure it out? I am in the same situation and would like to know how to do it before approaching management for the money for the Cert.

Third Party SSL Certificates

I use SSL certificates issued by ENTRUST for the rest of my SSL activites throughout my business and would also like to import a SSL cert issued by ENTRUST for use in my FTP Server version 6. How can I generate a CSR file then import the resulting .crt file issued by ENTRUST?
