Notification failure with autentication

I bought the ws_ftp pro 2007.1 just because the SMTP authentication notification e-mail, but I have a problem.

It seems the WS_FTP program is not properly authenticating.
Look the message if I send to HostGator suport and the respost of HostGator.

01 - My e-mail to suport of HostGator:

Please... I need a solution. I bought the new version of ws_ftp just because
there the option e-mail notification with SMTP authentication, but the
hostgator server is

blocking the sending of e-mail. In the second message, I saw that HostGatos
put my site IP in the blacklist, because this.
My local IP is dynamic, because my internet is ADSL and I don t have one
permanent IP. The dsl.brasiltelecom.net.br is my internet adsl provider.

02 - Respost Of HostGator Server:

Hello,

It looks like a couple problems. 1. Your FTP program is not properly authenticating.
2. Your IP address of your ISP connection is black listed.

I highly suggest using your ISP SMTP server to send mail from your FTP application.
This will not require the use of authentication and will be more reliable in this
case due to your ISP black list..

03 - I use other softwares with SMTP authentication and all others work perfectely in HostGator.

04 - The Host Gator is one fantastic host and i dont

believe if the problem is with host. I believe if problem is with SMTP authentication of WS_FTP pro 2007.1.

05 - The SMTP authentication of WS_FTP pro 2007.1 is similar of other softwares? Why just WS_FTP SMTP don t work in HostGator? Other softwares with smtp autentication works very well.

06 - If SMTP authentication of WS_FTP pro 2007.1 don t work properly I don t need of this software. Than I can to use one free client FTP and this case, the IpSwitch should to retorn my money.

07 - I need one solution. Thanks.
