This worked for me. Otherwise using "siteid" will not work.

GD
SMAUSA.com

RE: when using NT Scheduler, site profile can't be found

Hi all, thanks for the great forum - good source of info.
I too have experienced this problem while trying to run ftpscrpt via our distributed scheduler (IBM Maestro). I do all of the site admin work under my account and the scheduled jobs run under the maestro account.

Reading your post here, I copied the ..\site folder to the maestro home dir (in documents and settings) and I was still experiencing the 'cant find site' issue.

I tried copying the ..\site folder to Default User (in documents and settings) and voila it worked.

I just wanted to share this info w/ you all... but I do have one question:

Is there any 'danger or downside' to enabling ws-ftp usage by way of Default User?

Thanks again. For automation, it would be useful to have the ability to define a "homedir" on the commandline to manage Windows profile dependencies... I've searched through the docs but haven't found an answer.

Wes, let me know if you've had any success...

Thanks, -John

when using NT Scheduler, site profile can't be found

Hi,

When using NT Scheduler to run a WS_FTP script the site profile can't be found and therefore the connection fails. Does anyone know where to define the location of the site profile so that the script run by NT Scheduler can find it? The user name with permission to run the NT Scheduler has the WS_FTP site profile located in the documents and settings/user/ipswitch etc. folder.

thanks,

Wes
