- NEW ==S> Is there an error in the bandwidth limits? When i download one file, the max speed is 70kbs, if i donwload 4 files the limit is 4 x 70kbs?!(see attached images)

Browser Compatibility:
- IE 7 (7.0.6000.16575) Upload icon not animated ==S> seems to be fixed
+ Firefox 2.0.0.12 (works fine)
- Safari (3.0.4) Upload icon not animated ==KG> This has been fixed.
- Safari (3.0.4) Upload Interface does look strage (See attached Image) ==KG> This does look very strange. The interface will be in eng and german but not sure what is happening there. Did the upload work?==S> Upload works but it also looks strange in Safari 3.1 and 3.1.1 (see attached images)
- Sometimes you can't change the directory (dont know in which situations) Logout - Login - and it works again. ==KG> This has been fixed.
- NEW ==S>Opera 9.27 has no animated gif while uploading (see attached images)

Suggestions / Wishes:
- Upload Progress bar (Many Clients upload large Files - Up to 1GB) ==KG> This has been fixed. ==S> It is still just an animated gif, i dont know if there is a possibillity to add something where you can see the progress of the Upload. Like 35 MB of 82 MB uploaded... 54% done... Would be good for big files > 100MB / slow connections
- Maybe a download button in front of every file ==KG> Per above, each file is now clickable for single file download or you can select multiple files for download.
- Help - Upload Files - Enable Popup (No Popups -> No Downloads) ==KG> Ah, so if popups are disabled, you are not able to download files? Is it okay to required popups to be turned on?==S> I think it was caused by wrong settings in Safari...
- Add welcome message - quota limit information ==KG> Good request! ==KG> any changes?
- Maybe "Simple login mode": Just a "Text-String" insted of Loginname and Passwort ==KG> Not sure if the ftp/ssh server allows this. Maybe one way to do this is to pass in the un/pw via an html script to give the effect of an "auto-login". Is tihs something you would use? ==S> Something like: http://tpp.wsftp.com/thinclient/login.aspx?user=username;pw=xy;login=auto Would be very usefull! So we could send such a link to a customer and he dont have to copy&pase the data out of his e-mail! Would be a nice feature!

Thanks for the post. Comments below.

Ldap authentication- ==KG> Yes, this is scheduled for the next major release, 7.0. Btw, what LDAP server do you use? WS_FTP Server supports Active Directory today and LDAP is coming soon.

If you are authenticated and is your first login, would be nice to have it auto create the user account/directory so the admin does not have to. After 10,000 or so students connect.... I know job security ==KG> Yes, this option exists in WS_FTP Server Admin - create accout on first login.

I see someone else had this issue, I was thinking it was a connection timeout, with no status message
