But this happens only one time the other tries were good.

I changed the name and after push the change button I can´t go back to the folder. The browser hangs and shows me a box where the home directory was written in. But I can´t go back to the home folder what ever I did.

So I logged out and in and it works good again.

I couldn't duplicate the failure.

I was logged in with the wsftpdemo1 account

Browser IE 7 7.0.5730.11

by

Christoph Mack

IT4FINANCE AG

RE: WS_FTP_SERVER 6.1.1 Web Client stuck in sub folder

hi llafonta,

what user are you logged in as? also, how big is the file you are uploading - the server admin has capped it at 50MB? does a partial file get written before it stops uploading?

bye for now,

RE: WS_FTP_SERVER 6.1.1 Web Client stuck in sub folder

Yes, I was able to reproduce the error. It could have been someone else testing deleting folders while I was working and accidently deleted my folder.

I was using wsftpdemo1 user account with I.E. 7 Windows XP.

I will try to recreate the error but I suspect that someone deleted my folder by mistake. Would be nice if we would get a message " Specified folder does not exist" when the folder is not present, this would of helped.

RE: WS_FTP_SERVER 6.1.1 Web Client stuck in sub folder

Hi llafonta,

what user are you logged in as? also, will logout work or do you have to completely close the browser/tab?
