That's up to the admin to decide which database to use. We supply functionality for odbc access to whatever type of database is configured in the ODBC settings.

For the contact database, we use the WorkgroupShare database by default, which is an Access database. Since the WorkgroupShare database defaults to Access, we do the same. WorkgroupShare does support a SQL Server database as an alternative.

RE: IMail 10.0 Technical Preview 1 Available Now!
Tom Lewis (12/31/2007)

lmpbhs (12/28/2007)
Is Imail still using Access as the native database?
Nothing has changed in this version with the default database.
