The realtime logging seems to be happening to the EV-ccyy-mm-dd.tab files and these are currently generated weekly. Is there a way to get them generated/named daily? The SiteScope logfile monitor can use its current date/time variables to match the date-containing-name of a logfile to scan, and it also supplies an offset variable to match a date/time x minutes future or past; but I would always need to offset to last Sunday for SiteScope to find the file (the offset variable would have to be varied every day and that is not a workable solution).

Capturing "DOWN" and "UP" events from either WUGEvent.log or ".tab" files

Hi - We use a monitoring tool called SiteScope and one if its capabilities is to scan log files to select messages containing particular text strings. I'd like to use this to capture "DOWN" and "UP" messages, from either the WUGEvent.log or a EV-ccyy-mm.dd.tab file. Problems - our WUGEvent.log is not recording new events (don't ask me why it contains events from 2006 and none since) even though the workstation running WUG has been restarted. It appears to me (via a GUI selection) that logging is enabled. What to do/check? Also, the EV .tab files are named with a date stamp which is always a Sunday, but we don't get one every Sunday - is there a way to get these generated daily at midnight, named with the current day's date stamp (so that I can easily identify the logfile to be monitored by SiteScope with it's current date variables)? I must be a very obvious WUG novice huh? Thanks!
