In the next release, it will need to be an Admin user (or you can configure a separate list of authorized users).</P><P>In the next version the encryption option will no longer exists - encryption will always be on when using a remote connection. The encryption option was added to help with performance on some future architectural changes we will be making to the web client, but now will no longer be needed. We saw no real performance gain in the wadmin by turning it off.</P><P>The services - Queue manager - gate tries will be fixed for technical preview 3.</P><P>Thanks for the feedback!</P>Fri, 20 Apr 2007 11:08:21 GMTTripp Allenhttp://forums.ipswitch.com/Topic29854-32-1.aspx<P>These are the problems that I've had so far, btw the application looks very promising.</P><P>1) The instructions don't specify that you have to use a user from the AD database in the remote server, I was trying to login with a user that has system administration rights in the IMail database, after several unsuccessful tries I figured out that I've to use and AD user to login.</P><P>2) As suggested in the instructions, to improve the performance I tried to turn off the encryption by adding the DWORD Encrypt with a value of 0 in HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\services\imailapisvc\parameters, but even after restarting the service, it doesn't allow any logins with Encrypt data unchecked.
