IM Server failed to push status to user.name@host.com Error = Failed to read result code

Here's the error I received today:

"IM Server failed to push status to user.name@host.com Error = Failed to read result code. An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

The version of IMServer we run is 2.01.

Turns out the IM Server service 'stopped' after spitting this error to the logfile.

Anyone run across this error message or have any ideas how to prevent this error?
