For the past few days our incoming email has begun taking longer and longer to hit - even as much as an hour and a half. The outgoing isn't a problem.

I've been fumbling through various "screens" for a couple of days, now, and I'm still clueless. I've read a ton of stuff, but it seems the more I read the less I know.

I was hoping someone wouldn't mind taking this really green but fairly intelligent newbie by the hand and maybe walking me through some of the possible fixes?

The person who originally helped set our IMail up barely knew what he was doing, and therefor, wasn't able to tell me much at all. We've been lucky, have been running it for 6 or 7 monts with very few problems. Except the enormous amount of spam I get, due, I'm sure, to the fact I have no idea what I'm doing when I get into the blacklists, etc. And now this.

Thanks in advance,

Edited to add: I did try changing the SMTP security to No Mail Relay, as earlier suggested, and I did notice the mail moving a little quicker (still about 15 minutes lag), but then all the outgoing mail just sat in the spool directory until I "sent" them.

Again, many thanks!
