I am running WS_Ftp server 5.05. Does the server default to Active or PASV? It is my understanding that the server will default to 'active' and that the ftp client can set it to PASV. Although many of my customers can use PASV, I have a single customer that is having problems, so I have to be sure.

Thank you.

The server does not determine how the data connection is made.  This is determined when the client tries to create a data connection by sending either the PORT or PASV command to the server.  The server will respond to either command in the appropriate manner.
