Hi,

I've got a question on viewing an unclassified TCP port for a particular stream.  The conversation is very small, so it falls outside of the normal criteria of unclassified traffic of the top 100 per hour.  I really need to see what this port is, is there anyway to do a custom report to view the specific port information on this very small stream?

Thanks!

Kim

Kim,

This is a good feature that unfortunately we have not implemented.  We were wondering how to improve the viewing of unclassified traffic.  What would be your preferences:

- Allow column sorting
- Allow entering filters (or use the same filters we have in interface details)
- Allow selecting top n (instead of 100)
- Adding other columns, like packets and flows in addition to bytes.

Thanks.

Hi Claudio,

I think I would prefer a combination (I don't ask for much, do I?  ) of Top N and column sorting.  Right now, the flow I'm trying to focus on doesn't even get in the list, because the UDP conversation is so small (48 bytes total), so I can see it from the host overview, but it doesn't show up in the drill down.  If I could do a column sort, then I can just do a search on the pane in the browser for x.x.x.x.  That would be great!

Kim,

The product we are releasing in a week or so (12.3.1), will have column sorting.  So, at least you will be getting one of your wishes.
