| | I was trying to upgrade my server to version 7. Everything is fine, but when it get to the PostgreSQL installation, it gives me the following error:
The log file does not exist (the temp directory is completely blank). If I click okay it does a "Rollback" but now my existing programs are gone, and I cannot start my server or get into WS_FTP manager because the application are gone. I have tried the upgrade several times, with no luck. Need immediate assistance, because I am completely down. |

| | It appears that the exact error is during a phase called Initalizaing Database Clusters. |

| Are you doing this upgrade through terminal services?

| | I was, before I saw the note about it on the Website. Unfortunately soemthing happened that caused the V& to "Break" during an installation. It couldn't find an install prgoram, but it said it had upgraded it. I ended up haing to deinstall it, then install 6 then upgrade to 7. Now all my settigns and users are not connected. I worked late into the night, but still can't get everything working. WIll be calling Ipswitch this morning to try and resolve the issue I now am having with doing SSL with NAT on a windows 2003 server. I didn't change the fire wall at all from the Version 5 installation so that should not be a problem but I can connect if I go from the inside (through my intranet) but not from the Public address. |
