I have a problem adding Alias to all the domains that we have on our Imail server. When I add an alias, it does not show up in the alias list and it does not exist. It does not throw an error, it just does not add the alias. Has anyone ever experienced this problem, if so, is there a fix for it?

Thanks,

Not sure, I can tell you I am logged on to the server as administrator, so I suould have admin priviledges. Or is there something else I should have in the security? How do I check what you are talking about?

Thanks,

do you want to give me the version of your Imail server?

You can find informations about rights and permissions on the following document at url:

I have checked your link out and have verified the permissions, they seem to be ok and everything seems to have the proper permissions, I still cannot add an Alias, I find it kind of strange because I can add a regular e-mail user but not an Alias.

After adding the alias, did you stop both the SMTP and Queue Manager services AND THEN started them both back?
