I just downloaded version 7 and apparently it has licensing/activation built into the product now. From what I can tell from reading the "Getting Started Guide", what I downloaded will be fully functional when installed.

The question is, if I install this in a test environment will I burn my 1 activation/license? I'm concerned about the behavior of the new "show home folder as root" feature and would feel much better if I could test first.

There is an option to deactivate the license on the test server so you will have the ability to activate on the production server.
