it looks to me like the new web messaging advanced search could use some work.. looks unfinished there are a bunch of boxes and no indication about what they are all for.. multiple words?

anyway the date pulldown needs work i need an option to search forever not limit to just 1 year.

i also need an option to search all mailboxes or just one particular.. no idea what it curretnly does.. can anyone comment.. the old system had this..

also there is an unlabled checkbox.. what is that for???

sorry my bad the field titles were not coming out becuase i change the default label color in the .css to be white to show up on my modified login pages..

I subsequently have made a special version of the label for the login pages.

but this still brings up a couple of issues with the search which i would like addressed.

add items to the pulldow such as 2 years 5 years 10 years.. as we have people with big mailboxes (i did this myself) but the date searches are useless unless you fill in an actual text date in the date from field.. that feature is nice but not fully implemented.. default the from date field to todays date since that is most commonly used.. ie search 1 year from todays date...

also make the field read only and have a calendar popup to populate it.. not too difficult.

finally the whole concept of what mailboxes to search is gone in this version .. since it default to search the current mailbox we need a checkbox to specify search all mailboxes like the old version had.. other than that it works ok.. thanks...
