| | Since I loaded RC5, the SQL server process has been chewing more and more CPU time, to the point now where the server is so unresponsive that it is unusable; even from the console. It seems that a load more data is being processed than before. What sort of production SQL server is envisioned for a live environment, considering I am only looking at about 50 streams at the moment. |

| | Hi Lionel, I can imagine two posibilities, one is that previous RC were not able to process all received data, so SQL was ok with that load. The second is due to a bug we have on RC5 that will update hosts very often, not paying attention to when its name needed to be resolved. Do you know the number of flows per minute you have before and after RC5? Had you looked at the log to see if everything seems ok? Claudio Robles Network Monitor Team |
