Are you doing this on the local machine or on a remote machine?

On the local machine I will get 43MB/s, the problem is only remote. Packetplaner (QoS) is aktiv with 32768 (on this iis page). But there is no difference between with or without packetplaner.

So the connection from the server back to itself seems to work so this would point to something outside of the server. If the connection was slow using the localhost connection then I would think it was something with the WS_FTP Web Module.

Test with Windows Webclient use full bandwidth 600KB/s (Kilo Bytes, we have a DSL 6Mb/s for download). Web Transfer Module over http only 110KB/s.
If I try to start a second download, the next download has 110KB/s too.
Test 6 downloads, every download use 110KB/s.

I think this is bandwidth limitation by Web Transfer Client.

There is no bandwidth throttling in the Web Transfer Module. If there was, it would do it for internal and external connections.

Have other users the same bandwidth limitation with Web Transfer Module?

My configuration:

Windows 2003 Server R2 (32bit)
IIS 6.0
.Net 2 Sp1
.Net 3 SP1
