| All,
We are considering alternative options to the 10 device export limit for the Technical Preview. We decided to limit the functionality because of the nature of this plug in. It is not something that most people will need to perform frequently (Exporting the Layer 2 discovery to WUG/Visio).
Would increasing the export limit to 25 devices provide a more reasonable evaluation?
Thanks for the feedback.
Jason

| Export 25 devices would be loads better than none.
However, it would be interesting to see how it handles really large networks. WhatsConnected's Topology map renders a very cluttered picture.

| | The "Network Devices" default topology map will attempt to render a network diagram based on some initial/default settings for node spacing and node angles (when in radial mode). Please explore the "Layout Settings" on the inital map to change the spacing and angles to clear up the overlap in the drawing. You may also use the default settings to establish an initial layout and then enter "Manual Layout Mode" and do the fine tuning for the topology map yourself. Adding additional "custom" topology maps can also help you create views of the network that fit your perspective of the network. The key is to utilize the physical topology information to help automatically build the relationships between the devices. Please let us know your thoughts/experiences with the different types of layout options and custom map options. Thanks, Brian WhatsConnected Product Team |

Yes, that would be helpful - however, when I first started to evaluate the plugin, i couldnt get it to export to either WUG or Visio becuase i had too many devices- it did not stop and say "You have more that 10 devices, so we will only export the first 10" - instead, it just said "NO!" (paraphrasing, of course). So far - i like
