I cannot get the Control Access to work. I have tried a number of different things but it seems to allow connection without regard to what I specify in the Control Access area for allowed IP addresses. It seems to allow denied addresses or non-specified granted addresses to connect. I happen to be connecting from an IP address that is allowed for one of my other hosts, but for this one it should be denied and I cannot get that to happen. It shows up in the logs as connecting to the specific host I am trying to control no matter what I do to restrict it in the Access Control dialog.

Which product and version are you talking about? WS_FTP Home does not have this feature.

Sorry - I should have included that. I am using WS_FTP Server Manager version 5.04

I have noticed in trying to resolve this that the access control for the hosts is kind of odd. I have 3 hosts set up under Local System. It seems to be that entries in the allowed or denied IP addresses for each host can affect the accessibility of the others. That is, I have had to add an IP address in host B to get it to allow access to host A. I had assumed that these access specifications act independently. Is that not the case?

I realized that I had posted this question in the wrong area. I have reposted to the Server area so you can delete all this.
