| | Hi - I'm wondering if I can get multiple alerts after a server goes down. Can you get an alert at say, 2 minute intervals? Thank you, sartz |

| Not really. What you can do is create as many states as you want (down at least 2mn, 4mn, 6mn, 8mn, etc etc) and assign alerts for each state. But of course it can be tedious if you want to go up to, say, 60mn !

| That will cause headaches to your mailaccount You will have chaos. Imagine you have 23 devices go down because some of you switches got an error. Imagine you forget to create down dependencies for this switch... and all this happend 12 minutes ago - you got states every 2 minutes with email notifaction - this will explode your mail accound with 138 emails -.- |

| Well just don't forget to create the dependencies then I think it's absolutely essential to create dependencies. Not only they save you unnecessary alerts, but they also give you a better "view" on the network.
