Hello,

Today we had a user send another user a file (.doc) via IM ... the user receiving the file opened and edited it, then saved and closed it ... now she can't find it.  I looked, but found nothing.

Is there a particular directory that the IM client saves to when the user doesn't specify an alternate directory?

Thank you,

Kenneth

did you try those deep dark temp files that windows creates? It's probably there but very hard to find!

Correct it's going to be in a temp dir.  Example:

'C:\DOCUME~1\Jason\LOCALS~1\Temp\TMP_E6A22B6B9684AE4CBF79D95472BBC8F1\file.doc'.

If using word, it's probably also stored as a recent document.
