I've created a keyring in PGPDesktop, emailed the public key to a supplier

I am now attempting to use WS FTP professional 2006 to download files, the connection is SFTP/SSH and is working,

however the PGP encryption is failing with the log message

[-1,04/06/2008 12:10:45,4]Starting request
[12,04/06/2008 12:10:45,1]Opening remote file "/0000003800120080604101718_Hello.txt.pgp" for reading

[12,04/06/2008 12:10:45,1]Ok

[-1,04/06/2008 12:10:45,1]File is encrypted. Private key is required to decrypt it.

[-1,04/06/2008 12:10:53,4]Transfer request completed with status: Failed, 1 SubItem(s) failed

The supplier has successfully imported my public key & I've imported theirs as well as the public & private key created in PGP Desktop

any help would be greatly appreciated
