Since upgrading to WUG12 from 11.03 my device polling seems to be lagging.  If I put a device in Maintenance mode and then take it out it will go to a grey icon for an unusually extended time and then eventually go green.

The database is running a SQL2000 Server which is on the same physical box as WUG12.

I can't keep my polling engine running for more than a few seconds. While it does go green and start polling, the engine crashes and the service stops a few seconds later.

In my case the services keep running but the device state takes an long time to go to the correct state.  This seems to happen when the system first comes up.  Once I let in run for a period of time the system states seem to normalize.

I'm also having an issue with the polling engine constantly crashing.

This is in the event logs

Faulting application NMService.exe, version 12.0.1.877, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.762, fault address 0x00012773.

I treid reinstalling and also manually replacing the DLL in question, no luck.

This is issue is caused by a WMI Monitor, that has a checktype "Rate of Change".
Until a Patch resolves this bug disable WMI Monitors which are using a rate of change check.
