| | RETRieving a large file using SSL. It takes 45 minutes for the transfer on a UNIX system. Although the file is received intact, I don't receive a 226 response as I would expect. Can you tell me what this error code indicates about the connection or file transfer. Transfer finished, 286198101 bytes transferred [2007.12.09 23:18:20.757] Error result 80042001 reading response line [2007.12.09 23:18:20.757] # transferred 286198101 bytes in 2641.028 seconds, 846.611 Kbps ( 105.826 Kbps), transfer failed. | I am just tired of waiting to get an answer from IpSwitch. I guess they don't know the answer.
I might switch to Xceed www.xceed.com Components. They are fast as lightening ! |

| | welcome to my experience. I don't think anybody at IPswitch monitors the forums. Nor do they respond to direct e-mails. |

| | I was getting 80042001 until I went into the firewall option and turned on "Limit local port range" to a range of ports my external firewall was configured to allow. Otherwise, I believe the ports get randomly chosen above 1023. Plus, check to see if turning the site option "use passive mode for data connections" on or off helps. |
