Today we had a user that could not send emails. when we looked in the log file it said that they where banned due to possible hacking attempt. We have restarted the server and even white listed the remote computers IP address. Still no mail can be sent or received by this computer.

Anyone out there ever run into this? any fix?

check out the smtp lists... go to the smtp service in the webbrowser.. and check out the 4 types of lists on the left... there is a kill list and another list... remove their ip from this list

imail does this from time to time for our bulk mail servers, it truly does suck.
