Hello,

1) No progress indicator on file upload
==KG2> Yes, i'm seeing a static Please Wait, but not animation or status.
2) Does not confirm filename or any info of file being uploaded
==KG> Are you looking to overwrite an existing file?  If so, did you select "Overwrite Selected Files on the Server"?
==PY  Upload of new files
==KG2> On new files, after a successful upload, you should automatically be returned to the main page with a message such as this below:
Successfully uploaded
       -doozler101.exe
3) Upload seems slow.  ( Using 100Mb Fiber connection to Internet )
==KG> How big was the file?  Roughly how long did it take?
==PY>     50Mb file  after 10mins failed
4) Upload FAILED with NO ERROR: upload  of 50MB file  failed at 32.47 mb with no error just back to the login screen

==KG2> Good catch.  Sounds like the IE6 browser download window is flashing and then moving immediately to the background.   Firefox handles it differently  Can you see if there is an IE6 browser window hiding behind your current window? Also, are popups allowed in your IE6?

Further test results

50Mb file upload successful -- Around 15mins upload time ( No progress bar or feedback seen)

But again unable to download - Activex window flashes and disappears

Smaller file Residence3.pdf 227k downloads fine - Small activex confirmation window appears and can get at pull down options.

regards

the concept of the web client is good. the execution is "thin" which matches how you described it.

I too had no luck in downloading. (vista / IE7)

Look at what Microsoft just released with their skydrive.live.com product and you'll see a nicer "skin".

Hi Phily,

For IE, you will probably have to change your Tools | Internet Options |Security | Trusted Sites settings to add the tpp site ( http://tpp.wsftp.com/thinclient/Login.aspx ) to your Trusted Sites. Let us know if that helps.

Bye for now,
