For most of my devices we have 24h notification to a mailbox that after hours staff can check, but also SMS 6am - 9pm to a couple of mobiles.
What I had hoped is that if an alert occurs outside this notification period (eg 1am) the alerts would be queued and send out at the start of the alert period (eg 6am). This does not appear to occur for me (Gold 8.03).
I'm attempting to work around this problem by stopping the WhatsUp service at 5:58am and starting it at 6:00am.
Any better solutions ?
I'm aware of the re-curring reports, but I don't want an SMS to be sent unless a device is down.
