| | As I can assess it now, this version 6.1 is exactly what fits our requirements (no IIS webserver, + SQLServer database). We are running version 5.04 now in production. I don't want to upgrade to version 6.0 (with postgres and IIS), but on the other hand we should have sFTP/SSH as soon as possible. So the big question: when do you expect to have an official version of WS_FTP Server 6.1 . |

| | Hello FrankG, thanks for your post. we are in final testing and, depending on any important findings (internally or from the technical preview program), are looking to release in the coming weeks. The exact date has not been set but it's measured in weeks, not months. We can post more information soon. bye for now,

| Do we have a firm date of release yet? I am hoping to be able to wait for 6.1 to be released before I upgrade one of my ftp server hardware and software. I am being pressured to have it done by Nov 7th.
Thats Nov 7th 2007. I can convince the powers that be to wait for the release if I have a firm date that isnt too far in the future. |
