| | We have been testing but our licence expied on Sept 1st. We just had it updated. We have one question below. When I manually remove a "remote" site from the central server, how can I add it back? There doesn't seem to be an option for this. Once the remote site is removed, there's no way to add it back to the central interface for some reason. |

| | Abitterman, When you use the term "Remote Site", are you refering to devices that were discovered by the Central Site? If so, you can add a device back by rediscovering it using single device discovery. However, if you are using the term "Remote Site" to refer to a computer that has a "WUG Remote Site" install (which is configure to use a specific Central Site computer) you should verify the Central site options "Deny Host" and make sure that the "Remote Site" ip is not in the list of denied host. This option can be found in the consol UI main menu > Configure > Program Options, in the "Program Option" window choose "Central Site Configuration". If all computers that has the "WUG Remote Site" program are configure to use a specific "WUG Central Site" computer, these computer will be listed in the default workspace view called "Remote Sites" located on the Central Site Web admin. There is no way of removing a remote site from the Cenrtal Site workspace view called "Remote Sites", unless you have denied the "Remote Sites" access to the Central site. -SV Ipswitch WUG Team |
