I have been using WS_FTP Home for a few months now and had it set so that it connects automatically when I open the program. But suddenly it wouldn't open so I clicked the message which invited me to click to connect.

It DID connect but instead of the left hand window showing folders on my home computer and the right hand window showing my web site I have the heading "Your genealogy site" on both sides.

What on earth can I do to put things right?

I would try this ... Open WS FTP Home \ Tools \ Options \ General \ Auto Reconnect - Open last Local and Remote Folders \ click any OKs\Saves

Now on the Local side navigate to the folders you want then on the Remote open the site you would like ..... that should be all you would need to do .... now when you open WS FTP Home it should open to the last Local and Remote folders ....

kind regards, Paul C. Beugeling

I did exactly as you said but I ended up with the same problem. On the left hand sise there is a yellow tab titled "my genealogy site" and on the right hand side a pink tab says the same thing.

Previously I had the left showing my home computer and  the folder where I keep files for my site and the right showing the folders of the site itself.

I had the same problem for the last couple days. My solution: RESTORE your computer to the last restauration point.

Worked for me. Let me know if this works for you then I will reply with the procedure to follow next.
