| I have some doubts regarding Imail, please clear it for me................. 1). Whats the maximum size of the users - If I add around 50000, will it cause any problem?? 2). Can I provide load balacing or high availibilty with Imail?? 3). If I have one domain and 50K users, can I split the users to 2 groups so that 1 host admin can manage only 25K users. 4). Can Imail provide filter based on image, text and size. |

| The number of users should not be an issue.
No, Imail can not due load balancing or HA, but it can do peering.
Yes, you can spit the users up between domains, but they will have different addresses such as user1@subdomain1.domain.moc and user2@subdomain2.domain.moc and so forth.
There is some fitering in Imail, but you are better off using a 3rd party product such as Declude for that.
BTW, number of users has loose to do with the server than volume passing through the server and services provided. If those users are using webmail, that will take more resources than if they will all access via POP3.
You should search the Imail_Forum list archive for a lot of information on performance.
