Having downloaded index.html from my website and made a few alterations in Dreamweaver MX, I am unable to upload the revised file.

I get asked whether I want to replace the earlier version with the later version. I choose Overwrite and Status cycles through Retry, Pending, Connecting until I get Overwrite again.

Could anyone advise what I could be doing wrong?

Of course ipswitch would not reply to this post, since to do so would be to admit what a true piece of crap this ftp software is...
